Season: Mid-January to April.

January–February harvests yield the best-quality, smaller artichokes.

Diabello artichokes, available as hearts, quarters, or bottoms, offer tender texture and mild flavor. Packed in brine or oil, perfect for salads, pizzas, and antipasti

Varieties:

  • Quarter Artichokes – Diameter: 3×2 cm, 3.5×2.5 cm, 4×2.5 cm.
  • Hearts Artichokes – 25 to 35 pieces/kg. Bottom Artichokes – Diameter: 5×3 cm.
  • Sliced Artichokes – Includes U-shape & Fittina, thickness 0.5 cm.

Packaging Options

  • Glass Jars – Ideal for retail.
  • Metallic Tins – Available in multiple sizes.
  • Plastic Barrels – Best for food service & bulk supply

Processing & Quality Assurance

  • Bottom Artichokes – Cleaned, blanched, and packed in government-approved liquid, pasteurized for shelf stability.
  • Hearts Artichokes – Fresh-cut, firm & crunchy, with a white to yellow-green color. Quartered Artichokes – Trimmed, quartered, and blanched before packaging.
